Can we go?
Every step with a hop and a skippy-di-wop
Whisked by the peppermint-y wind
To a place gilded by multi-facet dew drops
Where our hearts and souls
Never be parched
We always go
One step forward
Two steps back
Until distances are measured
By blades of grass
Clouds pressed against our backs
Until they are reduced to
Mere dust in the wind.
I go alone
two steps into one.
Time and I practiced twirling
Destination entwined.
Soon.
It and I will disappear
Alone. But what an adventure, it was.
